Cookie and Local Storage Notice

1. Scope

This Notice applies to Ellich's public website, account pages, administrative workspace, and Ellich application surfaces. A merchant website or an integration enabled by a merchant may use additional technologies under that merchant's or provider's own notice.

2. What these technologies are

Cookies are small values a website asks a browser to retain and send with later requests. Local storage, session storage, and comparable application storage can keep settings or device state in the browser without sending every value with every request. Ellich uses each technology only for an identified product or operational purpose.

3. Technologies required to operate Ellich

• Authentication and security: sign-in sessions, request protection, multi-factor and recovery state, session continuity, and abuse prevention.
• Tenant and store routing: opening the correct organization, store, location, or authorized support scope.
• Device and station operation: approved POS, kiosk, KDS, customer display, printer, payment reader, and station assignment state.
• Preferences and reliability: language, display choices, saved ranges, dismissed operational notices, retry state, and other settings needed for a consistent application experience.

These technologies are necessary to provide a requested business service or protect it. Blocking them can prevent sign-in, tenant routing, device activation, payment, printing, or other store functions from working.

4. Analytics, advertising, and optional technologies

The core Ellich public website does not intentionally activate cross-context behavioral advertising cookies. If Ellich introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, or personalization technology in a location where a choice is required, Ellich will present the applicable notice and choice before activating it. A merchant may separately configure analytics or marketing tools on its own published website and is responsible for the notices and choices required for that configuration.

5. Connected providers

Google sign-in, payment infrastructure, support tools, embedded content, and other enabled providers may set or read their own cookies when their service is opened. Their privacy and cookie notices govern those technologies. See the Subprocessor List and Privacy Notice for more information.

6. Duration and controls

Some values expire when the browser or session closes. Others remain for a limited period so a recognized account, authorized device, preference, or security control can continue to work. Duration depends on the purpose, legal requirements, security needs, and merchant configuration. Browser controls can inspect, block, or delete stored values, but doing so can sign the user out or reset device and application settings.

7. Updates and contact
