The current Review Workspace is a test-only preview. Its sample reviews, sentiment classifications, approval choices, and reply editor are not customer or review-platform records. No action on the preview posts to Google, Yelp, Naver Place, TripAdvisor, or another external service.
Recognize preview data
Open Admin > Products > Review loop. The Review Workspace Preview banner identifies fixed sample records. Search, status filters, sentiment filters, Approve, Reject, and Save Preview change only the browser preview. Reloading the page restores the fixtures.
Do not use the sample guest names, ratings, response counts, or product feedback for operational reporting. The preview does not prove that an external review account is connected or that Ellich synchronized a review.
Read Review Analytics safely
Select Analytics from the preview and choose the reporting period. The data-state banner identifies the source:
- Live tenant data means the report uses tenant review records stored in Ellich.
- Test-only analytics preview means synthetic development fixtures are displayed.
- No review data source means the metrics are empty because no tenant review source is available.
Review total reviews, average rating, response rate, rating distribution, product feedback, and response metrics only after confirming that the banner says Live tenant data. Never treat test-preview values as customer feedback. A zero from an empty source is not proof that the business has no external reviews.
Save auto-response test settings
Open AI Auto-response. This screen persistently saves the tenant's English templates, selected test platforms, rating thresholds, delay, business name, tone, enabled setting, and Require manual approval choice. Language remains fixed to English (US).
Start and Stop control only the local test monitor. They do not fetch external reviews, invoke an AI provider, or publish a response. A selected platform means selected for testing; it does not mean the provider account is connected.
The response-generation and automatic-processing endpoints enforce this test-only boundary. Requests for live AI generation or automatic provider processing are rejected without an external call. When the manual review-response route is asked for a suggestion, it uses a deterministic English test template and reports that no provider call was made.
Know what is not live
The preview is not a replacement for provider connection, verified review ingestion, durable moderation, response approval, external posting, or provider delivery confirmation. Until those capabilities expose live-source evidence and a remote response identifier, reply through the review platform's own business console.
Use the workspace to evaluate workflow design only. Do not tell staff that enabling the test monitor will answer customers automatically.
