Choose the package by what the device does in the restaurant. Filenames and admin labels remain role-specific even when station components are shared internally.

Verify after pairing
Confirm the displayed role, store and station name, available actions, heartbeat, and connection to the anchor. Test the smallest safe workflow for that role: a test ticket for KDS, a sample order for Kiosk, or a status change for Customer Display.
A Digital Signage screen is for scheduled menu boards and scenes, not kiosk shopping. A Customer Display is not a staff KDS. If the wrong experience opens, correct the device assignment or reinstall the proper role package instead of sharing credentials across roles.
