Site Builder keeps page editing, live publishing, and reservation operations as separate responsibilities.
Build and arrange a page
- Open Admin > Site Builder > Website > Pages and create or select a page.
- Add a Hero banner, Text block, Button (CTA), Image, Business hours, Social links, or Reservation block.
- Expand a section to edit it. Use the visibility control to hide a section without removing it, and move sections into the intended order.
- Use meaningful image alt text, test every link, and preview the page at desktop and mobile widths.
Know what each save action proves
- Save content stores the current sections in Ellich. If a live website is connected, the editor says to apply live updates when the edits are ready. It does not update the public website by itself.
- Save and apply live updates first saves the page and then starts the complete live update workflow.
- A preview shows the current Ellich content in a preview context. It is not proof that the public URL changed.
After an apply, read the complete live update result. A small Saved and applied to the live website message is not sufficient evidence when any individual step says Failed, Needs review, or reports a warning. Open the public URL in a new session and verify the page, navigation, links, images, forms, and latest text.
Add the reservation entry point
Add a Reservation block, then set its heading, description, button label, booking path, theme, and visibility. Its default booking path is /reserve, but use the path configured for your reservation experience.
The block is a customer-facing entry point. Availability, resources, policies, deposits, reservation status, and guest history remain in Admin > Reservations. Adding or hiding the block does not create, reconfigure, cancel, or remove reservations.
Recover when the public page is still old
- Confirm the page was saved in Ellich.
- Run Apply live updates once.
- Find the exact failed or warning step instead of repeatedly applying every setting.
- Correct the page input, connection, required live-site module, or other owner of that step.
- Apply once more, confirm the relevant step succeeded, and verify the public URL after the live cache step completes.
