Review, save, and close public website requests

Last updated 2026-08-072 min read

Find live guest requests, save them to CRM, and use status actions without misreading their effects.

On this page

Guest requests from the connected public website can be reviewed in Site Builder and saved to Ellich customer profiles.

Find a public request

  1. Open Admin > Site Builder > Website > Guest requests. The live website must be connected before requests are available.
  2. Review the latest booking, contact, corporate, and signup requests. The current list loads up to 100 requests from the live site.
  3. Filter by request type or status, or search the request ID, title, name, email, phone, message, type, status, and submitted fields.
  4. Open the request and confirm the guest details before taking an action.

Save requests to customer profiles

Use Save this request for one record or Save to customer profiles for the unsaved records in the current live intake. The summary separates Saved, already saved, and needs review counts.

A request needs an email address or phone number. A record with neither is skipped with Guest request has no email or phone. Correct the source record before retrying. Captured consent values are retained with the customer capture.

Saving is idempotent for the same live request ID. A request already marked Saved to customer profiles is skipped rather than intentionally creating another copy. Always review possible pre-existing customer matches in CRM before merging records.

Understand status actions

  • Confirm marks the request accepted for operations and keeps the customer record ready for follow-up. It does not, by itself, send a confirmation message to the guest.
  • Cancel keeps the request record but removes it from active follow-up.
  • Complete sets the live status to closed and archives the completed conversation after follow-up is done.

For a booking request linked by its source submission, these actions also map the Ellich reservation to confirmed, cancelled, or completed. A new or other request status maps the linked reservation to pending. Confirm that the reservation record exists and has the expected state; a public request alone is not proof of a confirmed reservation.

Recover a partial status update

The live request status is saved before the customer-profile update is verified. If the screen reports that the request status was saved but the customer record could not be updated, do not click the status action repeatedly. Confirm the live request status, correct the email, phone, CRM, or connection problem, use Save this request, and verify both the customer profile and any linked reservation.
