Update website brand, logo, and styles

Last updated 2026-08-073 min read

Save complete business information, apply brand identity, activate a style, and persist supported fonts and colors.

On this page

Business information, brand identity, and website style are saved and applied through related but separate controls.

Save business information

  1. Open Admin > Site Builder > Website > Brand.
  2. Enter the required business name and optional tagline.
  3. Add the public phone, email, address, opening hours, and supported social profile URLs.
  4. Choose a logo and browser icon from the Ellich media library, or upload an image when the live site is connected.
  5. Choose Done or Continue to save the complete business-information form in Ellich.

Clearing a phone, email, address, hours, tagline, logo, browser icon, or social link and saving removes that saved value rather than restoring the previous value.

Apply brand identity to the live site

Apply brand changes saves and sends the business name, tagline, logo, and browser icon to the connected live website. Contact details, hours, and social links are saved with Done or Continue and reach the customer site through the appropriate pages, header/footer, and complete live update.

When no separate browser icon is selected, Site Builder uses the tenant logo as the icon when possible and otherwise uses the Ellich fallback icon. Removing the logo clears the connected site's managed logo; always verify both the header logo and browser tab icon after applying.

Choose and activate a website style

  1. Open Website style and filter by industry, price, included pages, or name.
  2. Read whether a style includes starter pages or installs only the look.
  3. Choose Use this style. On a connected site, selection starts live style activation immediately.
  4. Wait until the result says Selected style is ready. Review any included pages, homepage result, feature checks, or needs review items.
  5. Refresh the preview and inspect the homepage, navigation, forms, store routes, and existing content before leaving the screen.

Changing style can add starter pages, set the front page, and prepare modules. Selected style is ready does not mean every starter image is customer-ready, and an included-page or feature warning still requires review.

Save and apply fonts and colors

Choose a supported font plus primary, background, and text colors, then select Apply changes. Ellich saves these choices for later complete live updates and tries to apply them immediately.

Direct font and color changes work only with Full Site Editing, or block, styles. If the result says the style does not support direct color changes, the choices remain saved in Ellich but the public style keeps its own colors until a compatible style is active.

Verify before customers see it

Check the complete live update steps for Brand, Styles, Header and footer, Navigation, and Live cache. Then open the public site in a fresh session and verify the business name, tagline, logo, browser icon, contact details, hours, social links, colors, typography, mobile header, and checkout routes.
