Company Activity History is a read-only record of recent company, store, group, report, guest, loyalty, access, and shared-setting changes. Use it to answer who changed something, which scope was affected, and when the recorded action occurred.
Read an activity entry
- Open Company → Activity History.
- Choose Refresh when you need the latest recorded entries.
- Read the customer-facing event name.
- Check Actor, Location, Time, and any available details such as reason, setting, store count, or validation result.
The location can be a store, Store Group, or the company. System means the record has no user actor. Activity History currently loads the most recent 100 company entries; it is not an unlimited archive or a live technical log stream.
Use the record during an investigation
Match the event time and scope with the affected workflow. For example, distinguish Shared setting saved from Store update completed, Report updated from Report shared, and Guest profile review requested from Guest profiles combined. A requested or saved event is not proof that a later publish, delivery, or approval succeeded.
Activity History intentionally hides internal identifiers and technical provider or database details. It is useful audit evidence, but it does not change, undo, retry, or approve an action. Return to the owning module to restore a shared setting, retry a report delivery, review a guest merge, or change access.
Escalate with safe evidence
Record the event name, actor label, store or company scope, local time, visible reason, and the business result you expected. Do not include passwords, MFA codes, POS PINs, payment data, cookies, database URLs, or copied private guest contact details. If no matching event appears, confirm you are in the correct company context and that the change falls within the recent entries before opening a Help Request.
